Privacy Policy

GreenFrog Packaging® (“GreenFrog,” “we,” “us”) operates gogreenfrog.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, request samples or a quote, or place an order; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you request samples, a quote or a catalog, send us a message, or create an order, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, the products and quantities you are interested in, and anything you write in a message.
• Order and payment information. When you buy online, we collect your order details and shipping and billing addresses. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we receive a confirmation and the last digits of the card, not the full card number.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page that referred you and the time of your visit. Our contact form records the advertising campaign that brought you to it so we can tell which ads work.
• Cookies and advertising tags.The Site uses the Google Ads tag, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Keychain pixel. These set cookies and similar identifiers to measure conversions, attribute leads to advertising, and build audiences for advertising on those platforms. See “Your choices” below for how to opt out.

How we use information

• To respond to your sample, quote and support requests and to send what you asked for.
• To process and ship orders, collect payment, and send order-related messages.
• To keep records of our business relationship with you and your company in our customer system.
• To send you product news and offers, which you can opt out of at any time.
• To measure and improve the Site and our advertising.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who work on our behalf: hosting, our customer system, payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery, and analytics and advertising platforms (Google, LinkedIn and Keychain). Each is limited to what it needs to do its job.
• Authorized distributors, if you ask us to be put in touch with one or your region is served by one.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of GreenFrog, our customers or others.
• A successor if GreenFrog or the Site is sold, merged or reorganized.

Your choices

• Marketing email. Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. Order and account messages are not marketing and continue while you do business with us.
• Advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and of LinkedIn ad targeting in your LinkedIn settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies; the Site works without them.
• Access, correction and deletion. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email samples@gogreenfrog.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may keep records we need for tax, accounting and legal purposes.

If you are in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with privacy laws that give you additional rights, those rights apply, and you may exercise them by contacting us as above. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

Data retention

We keep sample, quote and order records for as long as we do business with you and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. Web analytics and advertising data are kept according to each platform’s retention settings.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, card data goes directly to our payment processor, and access to our customer records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to or stored by the Site.

Children

The Site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Other sites

The Site links to our blog, the BioBottles consumer site and third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Site.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the most recent revision, and a material change will be noted on this page.
